On last night’s Daily Show, hedge fund manager and finely aged cigar John Tabacco blew a lot of smoke about how the American financial system is “the greatest system the world has over known,” arguing that regulation would turn this last great bastion of capitalism into the type of commie-pinko dystopia we have up here in Canada. Guess Tabacco missed the memo that the United States has had 16 banking crises since 1790, while Canada has had a grand total of zero. But it’s hard to hear facts over the sound of your yacht’s 5000 horsepower engine.
To illustrate just how warped things are up north, Jason Jones travelled to Toronto to interview Peter Aceto, President & CEO of ING Direct Canada. Stick it out until the end to see the world premiere of Wall Street: Canada.
