New York’s Stop-and-Frisk program is notorious for disproportionately targeting racial minorities. But despite its negative reputation and obvious discriminatory practices, Jessica Williams isn’t against the policy—she just thinks it needs a change of location. On last night’s Daily Show, Williams advocated ramping up Stop-and-Frisk in one of New York’s most crime-ridden neighbourhoods: Wall Street. As she explained to John Oliver, it’s not unfair profiling if the majority people who just so happen to commit crimes tend to be white men in tailored suits with slicked-back hair.
