Lots of “pew pew pew” gun noises in this verrrrrry realistic retelling of the life Billy the Kid, narrated (drunkenly, of course) by actor Preston Flagg. Timm Sharp plays the famed outlaw, opposite Rob Huebel as Pat Garrett, the New Mexico sheriff determined to hunt Billy down. There’s a stuffed toy acting as a stand-in for a horse (it’s an Oscar-worthy performance), plus a rousing original folk song improvised by Flagg at the peak of his incoherence. Give a drunk man a guitar and access to a Wikipedia article, and he’ll pen a pretty hilarious historical ballad.
