You probably didn’t need another reason to love Tig Notaro, but here’s one anyway. The comedian recently submitted a video to Rookie magazine’s “Ask a Grown Woman” series, doling out advice from the comfort of her kitchen. For those of you not in the know, Rookie’s “Ask a Grown Woman” and “Ask a Grown Man” videos feature comedians, musicians, writers, and other grown (and famous) adults answering reader questions on everything from dating to body image. Although the clips are geared at teens, they’re a consistently endearing and humorous watch for older folks, as well. Recent funny people who’ve offered their wisdom include Bill Hader, Judd Apatow, the Lonely Island dudes, Jimmy Fallon, Kumail Nanjiani, and more.

Notaro’s instalment is a little heavier than most, touching on her recent experience with breast cancer and the sudden loss of her mother last year. But she also manages to squeak some absurdity in the mix. Notaro’s tip for how to make friends? Tell everyone your grandma owns a bunny farm.
