Corner Gas creator and fortuitously named comedian Brent Butt is going on a cross-Canada road trip this winter. The International Emmy nominee will be kicking off his 17-city "Almost a Movie Star" tour in Ottawa on January 30, then making his way to Lethbridge, Alberta by March 4. Tickets are currently on sale via Butt's official website, where you can also take a closer look at cities and dates.

And if you can't get your ass to one of Butt's live performances in the coming months, that's okay, because Butt is literally about to become a movie star. In addition to writing the upcoming comedy No Clue, Butt also plays the lead role of Leo Falloon, a trinket salesman who pretends to be a detective after a pretty lady asks him to help find her brother. Directed by Carl Bessai and co-starring Amy Smart as the pretty lady and David Koechner as Leo's friend, No Clue is slated for release on March 7, 2014. Check out the trailer below!
