Dressed as a fancy highlighter, Paul F. Tompkins used his timeslot on this week's episode of John Oliver's New York Stand-Up Show to recount a tale of workplace duplicity on a grand scale. Two men, bored out of their skulls while manning a Beta-only video store in the 1990s, realize they can take naps on the job and nobody will even notice. It's genius on the level of Einstein combined with sleepiness on the level of a newborn infant.
