Mikhail Gorbachev does not think Jason Jones is funny. On last night's Daily Show, Jones travelled to Moscow (aka "Sochi-ish") to figure out if Russia really is as backwards as all those pictures of pee water and poop-with-a-friend toilets would lead us to believe. And after discovering that Russia has a Shake Shack, a Dunkin' Donuts, and Breaking Bad DVDs for sale, Jones started to worry that the country was actually lot like America—"just with a fucked up alphabet." So he spoke with Vyacheslav Nikinov, a Russian State Duma Deputy, to get a better sense of Russian culture and history. And after some extended bickering in fake accents, Jones started to miss the good old days of open Russian-American animosity. But when he tried expressing his feelings to Gorbachev, the former leader of the Soviet Union didn't have much patience for his ideas.
