Of all the comedians we interviewed at Just For Laughs this year, Jerrod Carmichael might have been the loveliest. It’s this combination of charm and comedic chops that have propelled the North Carolina native into the upper echelons of comedy. He had a good-sized role in the hilarious Neighbors alongside Seth Rogen and Hannibal Buress, his upcoming stand-up special was directed by Spike Lee and he has a show in development with NBC. My biggest accomplishment in 2014 is that I finally got into putting mustard on things.
