Tonight at 10:30ep we premiere a new show called Benched about a distinguished corporate lawyer named Nina Whitley (Happy Endings’ Eliza Coupe) whose public breakdown forces her into a new job as a public defender. Coupe and her co-stars, including Oscar Nunez and Maria Bamford, will be looking to join the ranks of legendary comedic performers who have portrayed memorable lawyers in movies and TV, and in honour of the premiere we present to you five such performances complete with supporting evidence. If you noticed someone missing from the list it’s probably because we couldn’t find any legal videos to support our case. The prosecution rests?
