1. If you were worried about who’d fill the giant, late-night hole left by the departure of Stephen Colbert, you can breathe a little easier today. Monday’s Nightly Show debut episode proved that former Daily Show correspondent Larry Wilmore has the chops to carry his own program. Wilmore made us laugh a lot (and squirm just a little). Fans who fretted that no one but Colbert would be able to follow Jon Stewart were (happily) proven incorrect.

2. The program was originally going to be called The Minority Report but showrunners were worried the title would cause some confusion with the similarly named 2002 action movie  (and we all know how touchy Tom Cruise can be).
