Trevor Noah is probably a pretty busy dude right now with his version of The Daily Show set to debut in less than two weeks on September 28. Don’t feel sorry for him though because he’s bringing stress upon himself by keeping busy outside of the show including an appearance at JFL42 in Toronto a mere two days before the premiere and guest spot on the sparkling new Late Show With Stephen Colbert tomorrow night (September 17).
We doubt he’s going to have time to divulge many Daily Show insider tidbits because there’s a Republican Debate tonight that should give him and Colbert plenty to talk about/make fun of. It’ll give Noah the chance to test out his knowledge and jokes regarding the 2016 presidential election, which will probably dominate The Daily Show until a new president is crowned over a year from now. Joining Noah on the show is UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon and musician Chris Stapleton, but who cares?
Hopefully this means that Colbert will eventually turn up as a Daily Show guest but as of yet Comedy Central hasn’t announced who will show up in week one. When we find out we’ll let you know!
