We’re counting down the days until film and TV legend Bruce Willis officially becomes the next Comedy Central Roast victim. Comedian, actor, and Willis roaster Lil Rel Howery (arguably the breakout star of last year's Get Out) has always been a huge Bruce Willis fan, and he sat down with Conan O’Brien earlier this week to admit just how excited he is to be part of the big event.

“I’m a huge Bruce Willis fan," owery admitted. "Before I got the offer (to appear on the roast) I was just watching Die Hard on the plane for no reason. I love the first Die Hard.”

"The Comedy Central Roast of Bruce Willis" will tape on Saturday, July 14 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles and is set to air on Sunday, July 29 at 10ep right here on The Comedy Network. The iconic roster of roasters for this year includes Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Roast Master, Martha Stewart, Dennis Rodman, Edward Norton, Nikki Glaser, Dom Irrera, Cybill Shepherd, Jeff Ross, and Kevin Pollak. The Die Hard actor will follow in the footsteps of past celebrity bigwigs that have been “honoured” at the roast such as Justin Bieber, Charlie Sheen, James Franco, and Bob Saget

Kent Alterman, president of Comedy Central, added: “Bruce has survived terrorists, Armageddon, romance and death itself. Yet, nothing has prepared him for this Roast.”

Bruce Willis is internationally known for his role as the hard-edged character in blockbuster actions such as The Expendables, Unbreakable, and the Die Hard series, but this doesn’t mean he’s not afraid to dip his toes in the water of divergent genres. Willis has also appeared in 12 Monkeys, Pulp Fiction, Moonrise Kingdom, and The Sixth Sense. His most recent ventures, set to be released in 2019, include M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass, and Edward Norton’s Motherless Brooklyn.

Don’t miss out on any of the laughs and tune into The Comedy Network on July 29 at 10ep to see how Willis reacts to being in the hot seat.
