It’s the most wonderful time of the year – the time when we finally start finding out who’ll be hitting the hallowed JFL Montreal stage in July.

The first slate of announced performers is filled with a few familiar names---namely, The Daily Show’s Trevor Noah. Noah will be taking over Montreal’s Bell Centre for an entire night on Friday July 26 starting at 8 p.m.  (in Quebec time, of course) as part of his “Loud and Clear” tour.

But that’s not all. On July 25 at 7 p.m. AND 9:45 pm at Place des Arts, the one and only Jim Jefferies will be hosting two Gala Shows. If you’ve ever seen The Jim Jefferies Show, you know that these Galas (and Jefferies’ inevitable rants) are not to be missed.

In other recent JFL news, lauded British stand-up Michael McIntyre (of Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Michael McIntyre’s Big Show) will be bringing his “Big World Tour” to JFL MTL on July 25 at 7 p.m. Long-time JFL series “The Ethnic Show” will also make its triumphant return, this time hosted by Cristela Alonzo and featuring Canada’s own Dave Merheje. Plus, you’ve got “Brit(ish)” with Jimmy Carr and Sarah Millican on July 26 and 27 at 7 p.m. With this kind of talent taking on the fest, how can you not go?
