If you thought the last JFL Montreal announcement was exciting, just wait---because even more star power has been added to the roster for next month’s festival, and we have all the information here for you.
If you’re into the social media youngsters, then you’ll be happy to know that both Tiny Meat Gang and Girl With No Job are coming to perform at JFL.

Tiny Meat Gang is a podcast created by two former software engineers---Cody Ko and Noel Miller---who are also known for the comedic videos they produce for and post to various platforms. Catch the two Canadians on July 24 at 7 p.m. at L’Olympia.

Girl With No Job, a.k.a. Claudia Oshry, is an Instagram celebrity known for her witty meme account @girlwithnojob. Having no job is Oshry’s job, along with a side hustle of co-hosting the online daily talk show The Morning Toast with her sister Jackie Oshry. If you’re a fan of Toast or Oshry, be sure to check out her set on July 24 at 9:30 p.m. at Club Soda.

Marc Maron will be bringing his Hey, There’s More Tour to JFL on July 26 at 9:30 p.m. at Cinquième Salle at Place des Arts. Maron is known for dabbling in various parts of the entertainment industry, including hosting his talk show WTF with Marc Maron and starring on the series GLOW.

Another major panel to get pumped for is a sit down with the creators and star of JannThe CTV hit series stars (you guessed it) Jann Arden, who will be speaking at the panel along with Leah Gauthier and Jennica Harper, the co-creators and executive producers of the show. So if you want an inside scoop on the series, come to An Evening with “Jann” Featuring Jann Arden, Leah Gauthier, and Jennica Harper, held on July 25 at 5:15 p.m. in the Grand Salon Opera at the DoubleTree by Hilton Montreal.

If you read our last announcement, you may remember that Ronny Chieng, a senior correspondent on The Daily Show, is bringing his latest show, Tone Issues, to JFL. Well, there’s more---Chieng, Baratunde Thurston, and a panel of comedians will also be holding a discussion on comedy and politics. Titled Political Comedy on Political Change, the panel will be held on July 25 at 3:45 p.m. in the Grand Salon Opera.

Aside from all the shows and panels, you can catch live podcast recordings of Yedoye Travis’ Dark Tank, Andy Bush and Mark Little’s My Gorgeous Son, Matt Besser’s improv4humans, Nicole Byer and Sasheer Zamata’s Best Friends with Nicole Byer and Sasheer Zamata, and Beth Stelling and Diane Duval’s We Called Your Mom.

To end the incredible festival, Anthony Anderson, star of Black-ish and executive producer of Grown-ish, will be returning to Just for Laughs to host his first-ever gala. The Anthony Anderson Gala is taking place on July 28 at 6:30 p.m. at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place des Arts.
